Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Steve Hopkins who was born in Rhode Island on June 18, 1971 and passed away on September 10, 2007 at the age of 36. He was an only child to Deborah (Hilton) Powers. She raised him on her own as a single mom and did an awesome job. He grew up to be a wonderful,  and caring man!!

He was a loving and devoted father to Michaela 7 and Mitchell 5 and step-father to Joey 17 and Kelsey 14.

Steve was my husband, partner, soul mate and best friend.

Steve was a Pharmacy Manager for Stop&Shop for 11 years. He was loved by his customers and co-workers. Their support has been most generous and kind.

Steve loved remote control planes, both building and flying them. He loved motorcycles and dirt bikes. He could build and fix anything. He loved computers. He could build and understand computers unlike anyone I had ever met. His mind was constantly on the go. But he also made me laugh. He was down to earth. He was fun to be around.

Steve was also the founder and site administrator of BuggyNews.com. This site is dedicated to the trail buggy, mini dune buggy, mini sandrail and go kart community.  He loved all of his hobbies, but buggies were more than a hobby, they were a passion. His website was a source of relaxation and pride for him. He loved the community of people that came together through BuggyNews.

Steve had a beautiful mind, heart and soul. I will love him always. We will remember him forever.
