Tributes and Condolences

steve will be missed  / Frank Withrow (buggynews member )
I never met Steve but I owe a lot to him form his buggynews.com site. From what people have said about him and from reading his posts on the site we have all lost a great man. My prayers go out to his family and im sure both he and Christ are watching over them from heaven. I know his greatest legacy was his family but his other legacy buggynews will go on and continue to grow and will excede his expectations may God bless and comfort his family.

Our prayers are with you.  / Tim Bockey (BN Member )
I just read the news on BN and am deeply saddened for you and your family.  I never met Steve, never pm'd him and don't know for sure if he ever had the opportunity to reply to one of my rookie requests for help.
But I do know that through his work on BN he empowered me to challenge myself with do-it-yourself mechanical tasks; rekindle old, and once deep friendships by sharing this past-time together; and allowed us to bring our family closer together with the fun and excitement of buggying.  I never could have done all these things without having access to the forum he provided.

Our thanks and hearts go out to you and your family in your time of loss.

Sincerely,
Tim Bockey

Will Always remember  / Jeremy Dennis (Friend)

Steve was an easy guy to talk to, and wasn't judgmental. He was a really great friend, smart, funny, and very helpful. I first met him at work, and somehow (I think it was me) brought up R/C aircraft. I was just starting to get into it, it was something I always wanted to do, but was afraid to crash my plane. He been doing to for sometime and was more than happy to teach me. We always had a good time flying even in -20 degree weather, yeah we loved it that much we would freeze to fly. Steve lived about 40 miles from me and we had different work life's, but every time we did get to hang out, was the best. He has a awesome family that always welcomed me there. I miss him very much, and will always remember the great times we had.
